We are committed to enabling our development teams through a modern DevOps-driven approach. To achieve this, we have built an internal platform that provides automated tooling and capabilities for software development and operations, including CI/CD. This platform is the foundation for onboarding our product teams to curated Azure services and accelerating their cloud adoption journey.

Join us as a Forward Deployed Engineer and play a key role in helping our software development teams migrate to the cloud and adopt DevOps best practices using our platform.

YOUR CHALLENGE

* Support multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and product teams in onboarding to our internal DevOps platform and curated Azure services
* Drive the re-platforming/migration of applications to cloud infrastructure while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, compliance controls, and secure-by-design principles
* Drive the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab, ensuring alignment with platform standards and compliance requirements
* Collaborate closely with development teams, educating and enabling them on DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native development
* Contribute to improving the developer experience by creating templates, documentation, and training materials that simplify platform adoption

YOUR PROFILE

* Software engineer with profound hands-on experience (5+ years) in application development (Java, .NET, Python, or similar)
* Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and migrating between toolchains (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab)
* Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and modern delivery practices
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code
* Experience with deployment of containerized workloads and orchestration (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes)
* Experience working in air-gapped or restricted enterprise environments, where all external dependencies must be consumed from internal registries
* Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong advantage
* Fluency in English (written/verbal), German language skills are beneficial
* Excellent communication and coaching skills - able to simplify complex topics and guide teams through change
* Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
* Experience working in agile environments (SAFe or similar) and collaborating across multiple teams
