Supply Chain Material Planner
GSK is currently looking for a Supply Chain Material Planner for the International Markets L2L Site/CMO Network. In this role, you'll be part of a team that drives the development of balanced supply plans across various International Markets site/CMO's. Utilizing various planning tools (SAP,OMP, etc.), this position will be responsible for delivering an optimized plan that achieves high service while maintaining optimized inventory holdings in the 4-36 month horizon. This role is the key interface with other functions such as finance, procurement, strategy, and manufacturing for their assigned area. The current areas in scope of this role is doing the bulk/API planning for 4 CMO's in Turkey, 1 CMO in Russia and 1 Manufacturing/packaging site in Saudi Arabia through being in touch with 15+ internal/external suppliers. The scope has the possibility to grow in the future.
Responsibilities:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
* Accountable for material planning/ordering/purchasing on a short (0-3 months) & strategic level (4-36 Months)
* Responsible for bulk/API planning management and excellence across the end to end supply chain of 5 CMO's and 1 GSK manufacturing/packaging site (systems & processes)
* Bulk/API planning for 4 CMO's in Turkey, 1 CMO in Russia and 1 Manufacturing/packaging site in Saudi Arabia through 15+ internal/external suppliers with the possibility of further sites/CMO's to be added
* Accountable for determining & following bulk/API inventory policy for 5 CMO's and 1 GSK manufacturing/packaging site within International Markets
* Set & follow boundaries, inventory policies and replenishment models for the bulk/API planning activities at sites/CMO's
* Ensuring adherence to the management of inventory/obsolescence.
* Monitoring and performance management of global sites / 3rd party suppliers where the bulk/API's are being ordered from (Through SCIM and ARM processes)
* Initiate and lead performance improvement projects to improve service level and optimize inventory
* Shapes a consolidated demand signal into the GSK and 3rd party suppliers through the System
* Partner with regional sites/CMO's on the relevant escalation boards, to represent the needs of the sites to in the necessary platforms
* One point of contact for API/Bulk allocations and escalations for the responsible sites/CMO's
* Managing 5 CMO's and 1 GSK manufacturing/packaging sites E2E bulk/API supply & inventory planning activities with supporting a sales of ~350 M £'s & inventory value of ~18 M £'s
* Lead annual financial budgets and the monthly inventory reconciliation process with sites/CMO's under scope for bulk/API inventory
* Review net requirements outputs from planning optimization system to ensure proper communication of net requirement plans upstream in the supply chain
* Confirm & communicate monthly net requirements, release net requirements using SAP; maintain system accuracy and integrity on an ongoing basis
* Work closely with the regional supply chain planning managers/planners to make sure bulk/API availability in line with the production demand and optimize inventory

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline.
- 2 years of supply chain, supply/demand planning, scheduling, manufacturing and/or operations experience is a plus but not a must (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with planning systems and spreadsheets.
- Good communication skills in Turkish and working proficiency in English.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work across functional teams.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Mid to high level planning systems knowledge (SAP, Office programs, etc.)
- Experience in planning for contract manufacturers or multi-site networks.
- Knowledge of inventory policies, safety stock models and replenishment methods.
- Project management experience or certification.
- Supply chain certification (for example APICS) or similar professional credentials.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement across the Supply Chain
- Experience managing local and global supply chains, good understanding of the regulatory, quality and compliance requirements
- Global and or multi market experience will be beneficial when executing responsibilities
- Understanding financial impact and knowledge of cost drivers within the supply planning environment
- Experience in operating within a GMP environment and understanding of EHS
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize
