Job Description:

The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) is looking for a technical expert to serve as a Solution Architect. You will be the principal designer for our transformation journey, responsible for ensuring that every solution we build-from data pipelines to custom applications-is scalable, sustainable, secure, and seamlessly integrated into the Bosch ecosystem.
This is a hands-on role for a deep technical expert who thrives on designing resilient systems and solving complex architectural puzzles.

Your Contribution to Something Big:
* End-to-End Solution Design: You will be responsible for the high-level architectural design of all DTO projects, creating the technical blueprints that guide our development teams.
* Data Architecture & Engineering: You will design the architecture for our data ecosystem. This includes designing robust data pipelines (using tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks), selecting appropriate database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), and establishing the foundation for our data analytics capabilities.
* Platform & DevOps Strategy: You will design our hosting, deployment, and operational strategies. You will create best-practice architectures for CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure, ensuring our solutions can be deployed and maintained efficiently.
* Integration & API Design: You will be the master of integration, designing APIs and applying microservice principles to ensure our new solutions communicate flawlessly with each other and with existing enterprise systems like SAP.
* Technical Standards & Documentation: You will design and document the technical standards, patterns, and best practices for the DTO, ensuring quality and consistency across all initiatives.
* Technical Problem Solving: You will serve as the go-to technical expert for the team, helping developers and engineers overcome complex technical challenges and make critical implementation decisions.

Qualifications:

* A university degree in engineering (preferably Computer Engineering).
* Significant experience in a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or a senior engineering role with a strong focus on hands-on system design.
* Hands-on experience and deep understanding of data engineering concepts and tools. You must be proficient with data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks), data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark), and various database technologies (SQL & NoSQL).
* In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD).
* A strong background in software development (e.g., .NET Core, Java) and a firm grasp of architectural patterns like microservices and API design.
* Experience with enterprise integration challenges, including connecting to systems like SAP (familiarity with OData, BAPI is a plus).
* The ability to analyze complex technical trade-offs and make sound architectural decisions that ensure the long-term health and maintainability of our systems.
* You are comfortable working in an Agile environment and are skilled at breaking down. complex problems into manageable tasks.
