Internship in the field of electric powertrain development (eATS) from September 2024

Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
In the department, we have just brought the electric powertrain (eATS) for the Mercedes EQA, EQB and EQC series into series production and are of course already working on the follow-up projects. Our team is responsible for the entire SW scope of the eATS as well as the inverter hardware.
Are you interested in contributing to the development of innovative and technologically pioneering electric powertrains for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars? Then you've come to the right place!
These are some of the challenges you will face:
* Collaboration in the implementation of a data mining approach in the development of the eATS
* Selection and preparation of the large amount of measurement data with appropriate scripts and analysis methods
* Further development of Azure-based in-house tools for analyzing measurements and error logs
* Preparation and regular presentation of the results
* Collaboration in the interpretation of the results and the derivation for the release and further development of the aggregates
* Collaboration in project tasks with agile project tools: Jira/Confluence
* Collaboration in testing in development vehicles, such as adjusting vehicle states, recording measurement data in vehicles, error analysis and checking new software versions

Qualifikationen

* Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or other technical degree courses
* Good written and spoken German skills
* Good knowledge of program languages such as C, C++ or Matlab
* Good IT and MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Flexibility and willingness to learn as well as commitment and team spirit
* Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
* Vehicle or eATS knowledge desirable
