Marketing Intern

The Marketing function undertakes projects to identify and isolate audience truths that inform our marketing and business strategies. We occasionally invest in external agencies to turn these research documents into relevant papers and thought pieces that address topical issues. Examples, include; consumers attitude to overseas travel during COVID, adoption of new ways to pay such as Apple/ Google/ Samsung pay and better understanding the motivations of smaller merchant enterprises in their adoption and rejection of digital payments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Support to develop actionable Marketing concepts, leveraging Visa's many assets and own personal expertise (including but not limited to) research and data insights, payment trends, brand and sponsorship assets, creative origination, digital marketing solutions, local and global best practices).
* Involvement in the planning, delivery and evaluation of integrated campaigns targeting multiple audiences, such as launch events and partnership activities.
* Measuring and celebrating our social impact by collecting data, compiling case studies and producing reports.
* Help bring a new perspective to what we do - consider new methods, new data sources new processes.
* Where needed, manage and/or brief creative, media, and/or third-party agencies and suppliers to ensure delivery of marketing programs.
* Identify actionable consumer insights, through the analysis of consumer transactional data and social media behaviour.
* Creating and maintaining content

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

* Penultimate year of university, graduating in 2027 (please make sure this is clear from your CV)
* Ability to work full time over the summer of 2026 (June/July-Aug/Sept)
* Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices, as well as an interest in the payments industry
* Evidence of excellent communication skills
* Analytical skills and solution-driven work approach
* Ability to work collaborative with a team-oriented work ethic
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
* Fluency/professional level language skills in English and German.
* Full, permanent, right to work in Germany. Visa will not provide sponsorship for this role.
