Job Summary

The IS Trainee will support the Information Systems department in various tasks, gaining practical experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and application support within a manufacturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to learn and contribute to the company's technological landscape.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
* Provide first-level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving basic IT issues.
* Support the monitoring of system performance and network availability.
* Assist with data backup and recovery procedures.
* Participate in IT asset management and inventory tracking.
* Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
* Learn and adhere to company IT policies and security protocols.
* Collaborate with senior IS team members on various projects and initiatives.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the IS team lead or manager.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and network fundamentals.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive attitude and a strong desire to gain practical experience in IT.
* Fluency in Spanish and a good command of English (written and spoken) preferred.
