Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Equipment and Calibration Management: Ensure laboratory equipment is properly managed, tracked, and maintained to support uninterrupted engineering and testing activities, coordinate calibration activities with internal and external service providers
* Hardware and Test Board Preparation: Prepare hardware for iGaN CV testing activities, perform soldering and de-soldering of electronic components, assemble and modify CV PCBs and test boards, support engineering teams in setting up hardware required for measurements and evaluations
* Automation and Software Support: Assist in migrating existing solutions from MATLAB to a new CVIC-based automation platform
* Engineering Sample Processing: Assist with the handling and preparation of Early Engineering Parts (EEPs), perform sampling and trimming activities using automated software tools
* Cross-Functional Technical Support: Collaborate with engineering, laboratory, and operational teams to provide technical support and ensure the smooth execution of development and testing activities

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Education: Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field
* Laboratory Tools and Equipment: Interest in and familiarity with laboratory equipment and measurement systems
* Programming Fundamentals: Good knowledge of programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C, C#, or C++) and willingness to further develop coding and automation skills
* Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to achieve shared objectives
* Language Skills: Fluency in English, German is a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2026-05-01.pdf).
