As Shipping Operations Intern in KOCH Shipping, you will play a crucial role in supporting the seamless execution of maritime operations. Your responsibilities will range from coordinating vessel schedules to ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Our Team

You will be an integral part of our Operations team, a dynamic division focused on the efficient and effective coordination of vessel activities. Collaborating closely with various stakeholders, including captains, port authorities, and clients, our team is committed to ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and uphold the highest standards of maritime excellence.

What You Will Do

* Vessel Coordination: Assist in coordinating vessel schedules, including port calls, bunkering, and stow plan optimization.
* Documentation Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of operational documents, including compliance records and close out voyages.
* Communication Liaison: Act as a communication liaison between internal departments to facilitate smooth information flow.
* Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to maritime regulations, both international and local, to guarantee the lawful operation of vessels.
* Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to identify trends, optimize processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our maritime operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Third or Final year student in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

* Prior experience in a maritime or logistics role.
