Team Overview

The System Expert team is primarily responsible of the administration and maintenance of the OneStream and Cadency cloud applications. OneStream application is a new consolidation system that helps in preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements for internal reporting and the preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements issued by Bombardier Inc. Cadency is a cloud application that supports record to report processes such as journal entries, account reconciliations and other close processes. This internship aims to support system expert team in the maintenance and development and improvement of the consolidation system - OneStream and Cadency that support month-end close, reporting and in the validation and reconciliation of the financial information used to establish the financial statements. Our team is collaborating in a positive environment and each member is dedicated to offer support and constructive mentorship during the whole internship period.

Over the course of your internship, you will receive one-on-one training and coaching from a team of talented experts and take on increasingly, while learning in a challenging and rewarding environment.

What are your contributions to the team?

* Support the system administrator team of key finance applications such as OneStream and Cadency:
* Maintain and perform basic configuration in the application
* Provide support to end users
* Participate in assigning the unassigned accounts in Cadency
* Create documentation of system related processes
* Support in developing reports, maintain financial reports and forms
* Support System upgrades
* Document consistent procedures related to systems and month end process
* Support system audit tasks where needed
* Support the team developing and implementing our new processes - OneStream:
* Contribute to the project as a finance team intern
* Learn system administration and maintenance
* Participate in loading data to the application
* Participate actively to reconcile data and analyze variances due to data transfer between systems
* Participate actively to the implementation of other areas / modules of OneStream.
* Participate to support any other system implementation in the organization's roadmap, as needed
* Work closely with the different Finance teams, including our Shared Service Center;
* Participate in the development and implementation of various finance projects;
* Support ad hoc requests or any other tasks.

You will develop the following skills:

* Familiarization with the consolidation system OneStream
* Familiarization with the account reconciliation and journal entry application Cadency
* Familiarization with S4HANA and OneStream
* Familiarization with month-end process and with the quarter-end and year-end process in the tool
* Analysis and the validation of data and the financial information
* Time and priority management
* Autonomy
* Communication with other teams and departments
* The ability to train new intern

* You have experience working with MS Office, notably with Excel.
* You have well-developed communication skills in French and English, oral and written.
