The Position

As a Procurement Intern, you will play a key role in accelerating our goal of bringing innovative healthcare solutions to patients quickly and efficiently through strategic business and supplier partnerships,. You will join a dynamic, global team focused on continuous transformation, working collaboratively to explore needs, create tailored solutions, and proactively partner with diverse stakeholders. This unique opportunity allows you to dive deep into end-to-end sourcing processes and actively shape our future by exploring the application of AI to optimize our daily ways of working.

The Opportunity:
* Collaborate within a diverse, global team environment to gain hands-on experience and an appreciation for cross-cultural knowledge and expertise,.
* Explore end-to-end core procurement processes, developing a comprehensive understanding of sourcing, category management, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management,.
* Participate in operational sourcing activities to gain valuable market insights across both indirect and direct procurement categories.
* Innovate by actively supporting current AI pilot initiatives, identifying exciting opportunities to evolve, optimize, and streamline our processes.
* Drive internal communication efforts by supporting the content development and continuous updates of our internal team knowledge platforms.

Who You Are:
* You are currently enrolled in and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Life science, engineering or a similar educational area of focus.
* You possess strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to comfortably collect, translate, and explain moderately complex data to others.
* You bring excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, alongside business-level fluency in English.
* You have a foundational understanding of (or strong interest in) negotiating, contracting, and procurement systems and an understanding of Supply Chain, Direct Materials or Research & Lab categories.
* You are a passionate learner who embodies our core values of Integrity, Courage, and Passion, ready to thrive in a transformative environment.

Additional Information:
* Duration & Schedule: 4-month, full-time work term beginning in September 2026.
* Location: Based in Mississauga, Ontario. Our team follows a hybrid work structure requiring the majority of time in the office.
* Full time (35 hours per week).

This position is not eligible for relocation support.The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 57 416,00 and 75 358,50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
