Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Marketing Intern - Hematology/Oncology (Summer Student) to join our Marketing team. This role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week, and reports to the Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Mississauga, Ontario.

*** This is a paid summer student placement running from May 4, 2026 to September 4, 2026, intended for students returning to school following the contract. Internal referrals are welcome. ***

As a Marketing Intern, you will support brand marketing efforts, participate in the development of marketing materials and digital campaigns, assist with conference planning, and gain hands-on experience contributing to a launch brand. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and contribute to projects that unite science, marketing, and technology to improve patient outcomes.

Details (Your Responsibilities)
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
* Support the Marketing team in executing key brand priorities, including managing internal claims approvals in Veeva
* Assist in the development of unbranded and branded marketing tools
* Support the design and execution of omni-channel email campaigns to enhance brand strategy
* Manage communications and relationships with vendors (e.g., creative agencies) to deliver projects within proposed deadlines
* Lead the conference sponsorship process with internal partners and third-party organizations
* Assist with other ad-hoc marketing initiatives and project coordination across multiple activities in a fast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Currently working toward a university degree in Sciences or Business Administration (Marketing)
* Must be legally eligible to work in Canada during the contract period
* Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and virtual environment (Microsoft Teams, online platforms)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and strong project management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Interest in marketing and the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on improving patient outcomes
* Familiarity with scientific and medical information and ability to interpret it accurately
* Self-motivated, accountable, and committed to contributing to the business

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* MBA or specific marketing training
* Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Bilingual (English/French)

The annual pay rate for new hires in this position ranges from CAD$31,980 to CAD$79,950 taking into account a number of factors including work location within the Canadian market, education level (e.g., Undergrad / Masters / MBA etc.) and based on the experience required for the role.
