Job Overview
Hyatt Feasibility team is looking for an intern for Spring 2026, based in Shanghai corporate office. Ideal candidates should be able to make time commitment for 6 months in order to gain in-depth experience. The start/end dates are flexible based on the candidates' availability. Internship allowance will be offered, but housing will not be provided.
Primary Job Responsibilities
The intern will assist and participate in the following tasks:
* Desktop research for new development projects in Greater China/Asia Pacific markets. For certain Greater China projects, field work may be required.
* Analysis of demographic/economic trends, lodging supply and demand patterns.
* Competitor facilities research, performance data and unique selling points analysis.
* Site evaluation, market-driven facility recommendation and pro forma projections * Ad hoc support on strategic planning projects

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Basic Requirements
* Junior and senior year undergraduate or graduate student in Hospitality, Real Estate, Finance or Economics.
* Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Additional Qualifications
* 1-3 days travel may be required depending on projects.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
* Basic understanding of Hotel Uniform System of Accounts preferred.
* Previous experience in hotel operations highly recommended
