About the Role
University students who are curious about insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Internship Period: 8 June 2026 to 14 August 2026
The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.
What you will learn and contribute:
Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Healthcare, you may be involved in
* Scanning and researching emerging healthcare and health technology trends, including digital health, AI in healthcare, preventive health, wellness, and medical innovations
* Conducting market and competitive landscape analysis on startups, solution providers, and health ecosystem players across Asia and globally
* Supporting the evaluation of health innovation use cases, partnerships, and pilots aligned to AIA's Integrated Healthcare Strategy
* Synthesising research findings into clear insights, summaries, and presentations for senior stakeholders
* Assisting in maintaining internal trackers, dashboards, or repositories of healthcare innovations and trends
* Collaborating with Group and Local Market teams on innovation-related initiatives, workshops, or projects
* Gaining exposure to how healthcare innovation decisions are made within a large organisation
What you will need:
* Undergraduate students in their penultimate year of study, preferably in: Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or related disciplines
* Strong interest in healthcare innovation, health technology, and emerging medical trends
* Solid research and analytical skills, with the ability to connect scientific or technical information to business relevance
* Excellent team player and curious learner
* Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment
* Strong command of written and spoken English
* Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office
