We are excited to announce that we have launched our Capital Markets Accounting Advisory (CMAA) team in Madrid. Our CMAA team is lead by a highly established Managing Director and is an integrated part of our established and highly successful global TAG practice

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented full-time intern to join our Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services team at Alvarez & Marsal Spain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and previous experience in the field will be a must. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment and to work alongside seasoned professionals.

How you will contribute:
* Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and technical accounting inquiries, develop journal entries…
* Support the team in various accounting advisory projects, including financial reporting, and compliance.
* Participate in the development of reports and presentations for clients.
* Conduct research and analysis to support client engagements and internal initiatives.
* Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Previous experience in accounting or finance is highly desirable.
* Full time
* Immediate availability to start the internship is required.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
