About this position

What you´ll do

* Assists in translating the production plan into a mid-long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring
material availability based on forecasts.
* Maintains MRP parameters, consolidates cross-category needs, and addresses MRP exceptions aligned
with the production plan.
* Collaborates with suppliers to support Rough Cut Capacity Planning for material requirements,
balancing cost and supply needs.
* Assists in material inventory analysis, reviewing policies, tracking slow-movers, and managing
obsoletes.
* Maintains manufacturing parameters to support material planning efficiency.
* Identifies and escalates material sourcing risks or opportunities to relevant internal or external
stakeholders.
* Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes and
performance.
* Ensures accurate material ordering in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order size while
minimizing obsoletes.

* Ability to do a 12 month internship (8/6h day)
* Business Administration or Industrial Engineering student with an interest in operations and project management.
* Good level of English and Spanish.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Proactive and motivated attitude.
* Flexibility and strong communication skills.
* Advanced Excel; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
