Description:

RISK MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING Intern will be support of Risk Management plant Spartanburg in Analysis, Reporting, and Steering.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the in the following functions:

* Annual Property Inspection/Audits

* Insurance / Risk Logic Recommendations

* Contract Reviews/Approvals

* Records Management

* KONTRAG Risk Reporting according to BMW standards

* Fire System Impairment Reviews

* Risk Management - Goals/Target Setting

* Property and General Liability

* Auto and Workers Comp

* Loss Control Engineering

* Claims Administration

* Safety

* Internal/External Audits

Qualifications:

* Pursuing undergraduate business-related degree

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

* German language skills (preferred)

* Analytical and critical thinking

* Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)

* Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

* Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.

* Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).

* Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

* MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

* Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

* THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 18th - Aug 7th, 2026.
