Our Mission is to drive monetization and sustainable revenue growth for TikTok through data science. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Responsibilities: - Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical methods - Design, analyze, and interpret insights end-to-end on a project from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and impactful business recommendations - Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring the use of sophisticated analytical and modeling techniques - Design, execute, and interpret results of experiments (e.g., A/B testing) - Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to team leadership and influence strategic decision-making

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Minimum Qualification(s) - Currently pursuing a Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytic etc) or a related discipline - Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R - Experience with data analysis in a scripting language (R, Python, Matlab) Preferred Qualification(s) - Internship experience in data science - Research experience in data science - Experience working with cross functional teams - Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver - Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment
