We're the TikTok Monetization Products data science team, who enables and champions data driven decision making. Our Vision is to become the world class data science team, where data is used rigorously to drive all decision making. Our Mission is to drive monetization and sustainable revenue growth for TikTok through data science. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Responsibilities: - Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical methods - Design, analyze, and interpret insights end-to-end on a project from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and impactful business recommendations - Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring the use of sophisticated analytical and modeling techniques - Design, execute, and interpret results of experiments (e.g., A/B testing) - Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to team leadership and influence strategic decision-making

Profil requis du candidat:

Minimum Qualification(s) - Currently pursuing a Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytic etc) or a related discipline - Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R - Experience with data analysis in a scripting language (R, Python, Matlab) Preferred Qualification(s) - Internship experience in data science - Research experience in data science - Experience working with cross functional teams - Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver - Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment
