Job Description

You are joining our team looking for a Data Scientist, for a 6-month internship starting February 2026.
As part of your internship, you will be led to develop Machine Learning models related to economic themes.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
* Review the existing literature. Be aware of the innovations that are made in the academic world and in official organizations (ECB, Bank of France, OECD, IMF, etc.)
* style="line-height:normal;">Model and formalize the models.
* Implement models (Python).
* Make the presentation of the results (with the possibility to make a publication about the work done).
You will also be taken to:
* Participate in the creation of Dashboards on PowerBi (possibility to train at the beginning of the internship).
* Assist in automating tasks (e.g. data retrieval / API usage).
* Assist in updating the service's economic, financial and sectoral databases.
* Assist in the search for documentation on everything related to AI in order to implement new tools in the near future.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Student at the BAC+4/5 level, you are preparing a diploma from an engineering school or university with a specialization in Statistics-Economics.
You have a good background in Python (data processing, automation). Notions of Power BI and VBA are a plus.
You have experience in machine learning and Deep Learning.
You are comfortable with manipulating time series.
You master the office pack.
You demonstrate autonomy and you are a source of proposals.
You are rigorous, punctual and perfectly proficient in oral and written communication.
You like working in a team, in project mode.
And last but not least, you are fluent in English.
