Job Description

You join our team within the GBO Accounting Controls department, which is looking for a Accounting Controller and Finance Project Manager, for an internship of 6 months from June 2026.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
The missions will be divided into 3 main areas:

A. First level control:
* Continuously monitor products related to Global Banking Operations' applications: ensure the so-called "run-of-the-river" controls;
* Manage the lettering of accounting suspense and monitor their status with business managers;
* Manage the reconciliation of the pending account for Upfront commissions to be refunded;
* Control and calculate the Effective Interest Rate on accrued commissions (Financial valuation methodology);
* Report the malfunctions and anomalies identified during the various inspections;
* Control, ensure the follow-up and application of IFRS 9Particilate to process reviews controls to be harmonized with international platforms.

B. Accounting:
* Analyze the Balance Sheet, P&L and Off-Balance Sheet accounts;
* Process and track in the IF interpreter all rejections (Event Report / Inventory Report) related to management applications;
* Calculate and account for Fair Values on files pasted from IFRS9;
* Participate in the closing work and quarterly reporting. Relay and coordinate actions from a Finance point of view with the other departments of the Risk Department, Operations;
* Respond to various requests from internal clients (Back Office, Middle Office, Summary function, etc.).

C. Management of Information Systems & Projects:
* Identify and report accounting anomalies related to malfunctions of the management application;
* Monitor the implementation of new features in Global Banking Operations applications;
* Participate in evolutionary tests related to Global Banking Operations applications;
* Optimize existing processes and procedures by drafting deliverables and proposing automations;
* Participate in and lead meetings with cross-functional interlocutors within the framework of major projects for the bank.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Student level Bac+4/5, you prepare a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in Finance, control, audit, accounting.
