Test Engineer Internship

We're seeking a student to join our Quality Assurance team and help test our navigation SDK in real-world conditions. You'll spend part of your time driving designated routes around Amsterdam to evaluate our navigation experience from a user's perspective, and the rest performing hands-on software testing in the lab. This role is ideal for someone curious, detail-oriented, and eager to understand how technology behaves in the wild.

What you'll do

* Drive assigned routes in and around Amsterdam as part of a two-person testing team
* Provide real-time feedback on navigation performance while your colleague operates test equipment
* Perform structured manual and exploratory testing in a lab environment
* Identify, document, and report bugs clearly for developers
* Give user-focused feedback on new features and usability
* Assist with basic troubleshooting of in-car testing equipment
* Share concise daily updates on what you tested and what you found

What you'll need

* Enrollment as a current student in a relevant field
* A valid EU driver's license and confidence behind the wheel
* Foundational experience or coursework in software testing
* Curiosity about technology and how things work; interest in automotive or mapping is a plus
* Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies
* Clear communication skills for describing technical issues
* Comfort using new apps and mobile devices
* Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira) is a bonus
