About the team In the early stage of TikTok's global expansion for Local Services, we focus on three core verticals: Dine-in, Hotels, and Things To Do (attractions & tickets). We connect offline merchants, creators, and users worldwide through POIs (Points of Interest), short videos, live streaming, search, and other formats. Our mission is to become the go-to platform for users to discover local service content and products overseas. The team is rapidly expanding, with team members currently based in 6 cities: Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Tokyo (Japan), Jakarta (Indonesia), and Los Angeles (USA). In this era of global exploration, we welcome you to join us on this early-stage international journey and build TikTok's Local Services business together! As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Assist in end-to-end planning of offline merchant-focused brand events (industry salons, official summits, etc.), from demand analysis, creative planning and design to on-site execution. Ensure alignment with business strategy and drive event effectiveness. 2. Enhance brand communication by integrating brand positioning into event planning. Develop differentiated content based on market trends and merchant needs to increase brand exposure and industry influence. 3. Coordinate internal and external cross-team collaboration to support business and marketing goals, and drive project progress efficiently. 4. Support other brand-related tasks, including social media operation, brand strategy, assets and guidelines
Requerimientos del candidato/a:
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Familiar with offline event planning & execution; experience in marketing, content, creative and communication preferred; strong project and quality control skills. 2. Current undergraduate or graduate student; 4. Keen sense of marketing innovation and creativity; good aesthetic judgment; excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills. 5. Proficiency in Indonesian and English is required. Given the need to interact with global partners based in Indonesian-speaking markets, both fluent spoken language and polished writing skills are mandatory to ensure clear and effective cross-border communication. 6. Strong learning ability, self-motivated, able to respond to unexpected issues flexibly. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Offline event experience is preferred. 2. Proficient in video editing and post-production, as well as design tools such as Photoshop. Ability to deliver consistent work is preferred. 3. Marketing, Communication, Advertising, New Media or related majors preferred. 4. Mandarin is a valuable plus for enhanced collaboration with Mandarin-speaking markets and teams. 5. A minimum 6-month internship is preferred.
