Your role

Are you curious about Procurement, Systems Support, or Data Analytics? Do you enjoy solving problems and looking for improvements? Are you organized and eager to learn how global companies operate?

As an intern in the Group Corporate Services Platforms & Shared Services team, you will support activities that help UBS run efficient processes and maintain high quality information across the organization.

This internship is designed for someone without professional experience who is motivated to learn, open to new challenges, and interested in working in an international environment.

What You Will Do:

Process & Project Support

* Assist with selected daily team activities and project tasks.
* Help collect business requirements and learn how these are translated into simple system or process instructions.

Working with Global Stakeholders

* Support communication with colleagues in different regions.
* Gradually learn how to understand stakeholder needs and provide basic assistance.

Vendor & Inventory Support

* Help maintain information about third party suppliers and ensure data is kept accurate and up to date.
* Support small tasks related to procurement and maintaining UBS's vendor inventory.

Risk Assessments for UBS Vendors

* Assist the team in performing initial steps of vendor risk assessments, an important part of how UBS evaluates its external partners.
* Learn how the organization checks whether a vendor meets required standards related to quality, security, operational risk, and compliance.
* Help gather information, complete simple documentation, and support follow up actions under the guidance of experienced team members.
* Gain an understanding of why vendor risk assessment matters for a global financial institution and how it protects the organization.

Improving Processes

* Help document basic processes and understand how operational activities turn into measurable workflows.
* Support the team in updating or improving existing procedures where needed.

Your team

You will join the Group Corporate Services Platforms & Shared Services team in Kraków.

The team supports global processes, tools, and projects used across UBS. You will work with colleagues who collaborate with various UBS functions to redesign tools, enhance processes, and maintain high quality management information.

Your expertise

We are looking for someone who is:

* Curious about procurement, business processes, or system support
* Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
* Organized and able to work with guidance as well as independently
* Comfortable communicating in English in a global environment
* Interested in how companies manage suppliers, risks, and operational processes
