Your impact

As part of the Digital & Data Hub, the Data & AI Engineering Intern will contribute to the development and operation of data pipelines, AI enabled solutions, and analytical platforms. The role is designed for students or recent graduates seeking hands on experience in data engineering, AI systems, and cloud based data solutions.

Responsibilities

* Support data ingestion, transformation, and preparation pipelines
* Assist in cleaning, structuring, and validating datasets from multiple sources
* Help prepare data for AI and machine learning solutions
* Contribute to integrating data sources into analytics or AI platforms
* Assist with basic automation scripts and data processing workflows
* Support deployment and maintenance activities for data or AI solutions (non production)
* Help monitor data quality and pipeline outputs
* Assist in documenting data flows, architectures, and technical solutions
* Collaborate with IT teams, Business Units, and Project Managers
* Help set up or configure development environments for new data or AI initiatives
* Stay up to date on foundational concepts in data engineering and AI platforms

Here's what you'll need

* Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, Software Engineering, or related fields
* Basic understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data quality)
* Familiarity with Python and/or SQL (academic or project experience is sufficient)
* Understanding of cloud or data platform fundamentals (Azure, AWS, GCP - theoretical knowledge acceptable)
* Analytical mindset and interest in AI enabled systems
* Ability to work with technical and non technical stakeholders
* Good organizational skills and willingness to learn
* Very good command of English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

* Exposure to data platforms, APIs, or cloud services
* Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Services, Databricks, or Git
* Interest in AI engineering, MLOps, or automation
* Experience from university projects, labs, or internships
