Background
Rothschild & Co's Global Markets Solutions (GMS) is Europe's leading, independent, fully integrated equity solutions business and a key pillar of Rothschild & Co's leading Global Advisory practice alongside mergers and acquisitions and debt advisory & restructuring.
The Role
A compliance role with a focus on market abuse surveillance. The successful candidate will be part of a small team that is responsible for ensuring that the company has the appropriate controls and procedures in place to ensure compliance with market abuse regulation.
Responsibilities include:
* Conduct daily market abuse surveillance, including the review and investigation of automated alerts
* Assess alerts in a timely manner, documenting findings and forming clear, reasoned conclusions
* Identify and escalate potential market abuse risks or concerns in line with internal procedures
* Support the ongoing effectiveness of the firm's market abuse controls and monitoring frameworks
* Produce management information and trend analysis relating to surveillance activity
* Work closely with other members of the Compliance team and relevant internal stakeholders
