As a Cyber Security Intern here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both cybersecurity and systems administration while supporting our Managed Security Services team. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the security landscape and the operational aspects of IT infrastructure.
You will report directly to our Cyber Security Manager, and you'll work out of our Bucharest, RO location on a Hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office + 2 days from home).
In this role, you will impact our ability to protect sensitive information and maintain the security and performance of our systems. Your contributions will help us identify vulnerabilities, implement effective security measures, and ensure the reliability of our IT environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Participate in the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of servers and networks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
* Assist in documenting system configurations, processes, and security procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and standardization.
YOU MUST HAVE
* Foundations knowledge or coursework in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
* Knowledge of security principles and practices.
* Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
* Basic understanding of server and network administration.

* Previous internship or project experience in cybersecurity or systems administration.
