Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Supports Test Engineers with product and system testing.
* Prepares standard test records and completes test documentation.
* Assists in carrying out tests and inspections at suppliers' premises to meet the contractual obligations of systems orders.
* Supports quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing, and validation, as applicable in the local organization.
* Collaborates in improving existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or reliability of test outcomes.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
* Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of Electrical Engineering, or related field
* Familiar with electrical drawings and equipments, i.e. transformer, switchgear, medium and low voltage components
* Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
* Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new tools and processes
