Cozycozy.com est le premier moteur de recherche au monde qui permet en une recherche d'accéder à la totalité des hébergements de vacances disponibles, de manière impartiale et transparente. 13 millions d'hébergements sont accessibles : chambres d'hôtel, locations d'appartement, de maison, de bateau, de lit dans une auberge de jeunesse, hébergements atypiques (tipi, yourte...) ou plus traditionnels (chalet, gîte, riad, camping...). En un seul clic, le voyageur peut désormais trouver son hébergement idéal, toujours au meilleur prix, parmi des centaines de sites spécialisés tels que Booking.com, Airbnb, Hotels.com, Abritel... et bien d'autres encore. Créée par l'équipe d'experts réunie autour de Pierre Bonelli, déjà à l'origine du comparateur de vol liligo.com devenu aujourd'hui leader en France, la startup compte aujourd'hui 20 personnes.
Cozycozy is the only unbiased branded accommodation search engine who aggregate all existing online accommodation solutions in one place. We bring our users all options to a single site, from hotels, rentals, and hostels to more unconventional accommodation types like campgrounds and boats. Our goal is to empower end-users in their search for accommodation.

We already have access to more than 15 million accommodations with more than 100 merchants we can access and real-time price and availability.

Cozycozy is a young innovative growing fast start-up based in Paris and Budapest.

In order to speed up our growth, we are hiring a data engineer.

Missions:

1) Data Management:
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using
- Maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Data quality: ensure that data are consistent and identify opportunities to improve data collection process
- Work with other engineers to enhance data models and improve data query efficiency
- Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data
- Permanently improve data reliability, efficiency and quality

2) Data exploitation:
- Create data tools for management & product teams that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
- Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models and proof of concepts
- Transform or map data from one raw data form into another format with the intent of making it more appropriate and valuable for analytics

3) Business Intelligence:
- Build out technology stack for Business Intelligence
- Build or recommend data visualization tools such as live dashboards and automated reports, to enable management team to drive the business

- Terabytes of static & dynamic data to explore and transform in valuable information to improve the product

Profil requis du candidat:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software/computer engineering, applied math, statistics or related field required
- 2+ years of related experience as a data engineer
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud big data system
- 4+ SQL-based technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL / MySQL)
- 2+ NoSQL technologies (e.g. Cassandra and MongoDB)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, etc.)
- The ability to express yourself in English both in writing and speaking

Knowledge of the following is an advantage:
- 2+ years of experience in machine learning and data mining (Tensorflow or equivalent)
