What you'll do:

The Analytics Platform Apprentice will support foundational activities across data, automation, documentation, and AI-related tasks. The role is designed to reduce dependency on senior engineers for repeatable work, improve platform governance and hygiene, and build a sustainable analytics talent pipeline.
Business Justification
This role will offload routine operational and data tasks from senior resources, improve platform reliability and documentation quality, enhance audit readiness, accelerate adoption of automation and AI-assisted workflows, support long-term analytics workforce strategy, and provide a cost-effective execution role with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Write and validate basic SQL queries and verify data relationships
* Assist with dataset and pipeline troubleshooting
* Support platform operations including job monitoring and issue triage
* Assist with audits, governance, and access reviews
* Enhance scripts and automate repeatable workflows
* Generate platform health and usage reports
* Support AI-enabled tools including validation and documentation of outputs
* Maintain documentation including runbooks, guides, and FAQs

Qualifications:

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Skills:

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of relational data models
* Foundational programming skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
* Understanding of data concepts such as tables, schemas, and granularity
* Basic knowledge of AI concepts vs traditional automation
* Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
* Ability to learn quickly and work in a structured team environment
