Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Civil and Interior Apprentice to join our Project and Development Services team. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop skills across both civil engineering disciplines while working on diverse commercial real estate projects under the guidance of industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist project managers and senior technicians with civil works and interior fit-out projects
* Support the preparation of drawings, specifications, and design documents
* Help conduct site surveys and inspections for ongoing projects
* Learn to interpret architectural and engineering plans
* Assist with material selection, space planning, and finish schedules
* Support quality control processes and compliance with building codes
* Document project progress through notes, photographs, and reports
* Participate in client and team meetings as required
* Learn project management tools and software applications

Requirements

* Basic understanding of construction principles and interior design concepts
* Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills
* Proficiency with basic computer applications
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
* Willingness to work in both office and construction site environments

Preferred Qualifications

* Enrollment in or completion of courses in civil engineering, or construction management
* Basic knowledge of CAD software
* Understanding of sustainable building practices
* Familiarity with construction materials and methods
