Job Description:
The Apprentice Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision and structured on-the-job development for apprentices enrolled in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) operated by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT). This role ensures apprentices receive planned, compliant, and progressive training aligned with approved curricula, while receiving regular coaching, feedback, and performance oversight. The Supervisor also partners closely with Crowe's third-party service provider for BOAT compliance, to coordinate training records, attendance reporting, assessments, and compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Apprentice Training Curriculum
* Work with the BOAT compliance service provider to develop approved NATS on-the-job training curriculums for applicable apprentice roles.
* Implement and manage the approved NATS on-the-job training curriculum for assigned apprentices, ensuring alignment with designated trades, roles, and program standards.
* Translate curriculum requirements into structured work-based learning plans, rotations, and assignments that progressively build technical, professional, and behavioral competencies.
* Define learning objectives, expected outcomes, and skill benchmarks for each phase or period of apprenticeship.
* Ensure apprentices are exposed to a breadth of relevant tasks, tools, systems, and processes required for successful program completion.
* Coordinate with program administration and internal stakeholders to incorporate any required classroom, virtual, or external training components into the overall learning plan.
* Periodically review and adjust training plans to address apprentice performance, business needs, or updated program requirements.

Apprentice Supervision and Performance Management
* Provide daily supervision, instruction, and oversight of apprentice work assignments and projects.
* Coach and mentor apprentices through regular check-ins, job demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
* Monitor apprentice progress against training milestones and performance expectations.
* Support apprentice skill progression and readiness for increased responsibility and complexity of work.
* Partner with work assignment points-of-contact to understand assignments and escalation paths
* Connect apprentice participants into local learning, networking, and social events
* The incumbent will be key conduit supervising the day to day, maintaining compliance, while maximizing learning and contribution of apprentices.

Training Delivery and Tracking
* Maintain accurate and timely apprentice training logs, task records, and progress updates in the designated learning management system or tracking tools.
* Validate that on-the-job training hours and activities meet BOAT (NATS) program requirements.
* Coordinate scheduling and execution of required on-the-job learning, assessments, and related training activities.

Compliance and Administrative Coordination
* Provide timely attendance, leave, and participation records required for statutory, regulatory, and program reporting.
* Partner with BOAT compliance service provider and Crowe's HR Compliance team to ensure adherence to apprenticeship regulations, audit requirements, and documentation standards.
* Support internal and external audits or reviews related to apprenticeship compliance as needed.

Assessments and Documentation
* Administer or support required apprentice evaluations, skill assessments, and progress reviews.
* Ensure completion, accuracy, and submission of all required documentation and evidence of training completion within established timelines.

Escalation and Support
* Identify and escalate apprentice performance, attendance, conduct, or engagement concerns to Crowe HR Compliance and applicable leaders as appropriate.
* Support corrective action plans, performance improvement efforts, or additional coaching interventions when required.
* Act as a point of contact for apprentices, fostering a supportive, structured, and compliant learning environment.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Other degrees, such as BCA, MCA, BSc (Computer Science / IT / Data Analytics), or BBA / BBM (with tech exposure), with relevant experience in training, supervision, or program management, will also be considered
* Experience supervising, mentoring, or coaching early-career professionals, apprentices, interns, or trainees.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver structured on-the-job training and provide constructive, actionable performance feedback.
* Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to schedules, records, and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with apprenticeship programs, vocational training models, or regulated workforce development programs.
* Experience working with third-party training providers or government-sponsored programs (e.g., BOAT / NATS).
* Prior experience in a technical, operational, or professional services environment aligned with apprenticeship roles.
