At (COMPANY NAME)'s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Global IT Security team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated
Systems Engineer Database (all genders)

Responsibilities:
* Administer and support of oracle databases under Linux and Windows
* Establish patching and version update plans to comply with (and provide input into) security, change management, and other applicable policies.
Monitor for DB server health, database performance, and other indicators of potential issues and attempt to address them preemptively.
* Refresh lower environments, perform database restores, and conduct regular disaster recovery simulations
* Documentation of job execution environments
* Backup and Recovery with RMAN(Veeam nice to have)

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
* - Experience with oracle administration under Linux OS
- First Experience with High Availablility Solutions in SE2 and EE
- Experience with Performance Tuning
- First experience with Postgres and SQLServer (nice to have)
- Experience with Dataguard and database security (nice to have)

​Ideal requirements would be the experience in the areas of:
* o database in public cloud
o Backup and archiving in public clouds
o Database administration and development
