Job Description:
Are you ready to shape the supply chain for civil aircraft and ensure the highest quality standards at Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg?

As a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (d/f/m) for our On Board Power Equipment, you are part of our Supply Chain & Quality team, where you'll oversee and improve all aspects of our suppliers' operational performance.

Think of yourself as the main point of contact for our suppliers. Your goal is to ensure products are delivered on time and with top quality, while also driving ongoing improvements throughout the supply chain. You are in charge of the overall performance and compliance of your suppliers.

You will thrive in a dynamic, challenging environment, balancing short-term reactivity (e.g., mitigating delivery gaps) with strategic long-term groundwork to ensure supplier compliance and ramp-up readiness. We work in a team where we support each other and learn from each other and team up to face complex challenges.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities
* Act as interface with suppliers for operational activities: Ensure on time, on quality delivery performance
* Work out short and mid-term recovery plans and drive your supplier against those commitments
* Develop, implement, and manage recovery, improvement, and development plans, covering both quality and delivery aspects
* Proactively identify supplier industrial risks and propose effective mitigation actions
* Assess supplier capacity, capability, and overall performance, contributing to their development
* Secure supplier approval and compliance
* Manage supplier relationship and performance
* Perform effective control of supplier activities

Your boarding pass
* University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
* Several years of relevant professional experience in one or several of those domains: Supply Chain & Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Customer Support and Operations
* Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Stakeholders management, negotiation skills
* Influencing, assertiveness, ability to challenge the status quo with all hierarchical levels of a suppliers' management
* High degree of autonomy and organization skills
* Negotiation level in English, German or French would be a plus
* Willingness to travel occasionally (4-6 trips per year)
* Global mindset and flexibility to collaborate with international suppliers across different time zones (e.g., regular alignment with US partners, occasionally up to 6-7 PM CET)
