Then come and join our global team as Global Commodity Manager Travel (f/m/d) and contribute to the strategic development of our travel booking management during a phase in which the transition to an SHS independent travel booking management model is being implemented.

Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

* You develop, implement, and continuously refine travel booking strategies and standards to ensure alignment across regions and processes
* You contribute to the implementation of a dedicated SAP Concur tenant as part of the transition to a global standalone solution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
* You analyze and optimize end-to-end travel booking processes, from directive and booking to service delivery and reporting, to enhance efficiency and quality
* You strategically manage external travel service providers (e.g., TMCs, booking platforms) with a strong focus on operational excellence and collaboration
* You define and leverage KPIs and steering metrics (e.g., compliance, process quality, cost insights) to enable robust, data-driven decision-making
* You use data and reporting tools to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and enhanced control across travel directives and operations
* You collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Finance, HR, IT) as well as international stakeholders to align priorities and ensure seamless execution
* You drive the optimization of the travel landscape with a focus on automation, advanced analytics, tools, interfaces, and data flows

Your qualifications and experience:

* You hold a master's degree, preferably in Procurement, Business Management, Hospitality, or a comparable field
* You have extensive professional experience in travel management, strategic procurement, or within the travel service provider environment
* You demonstrate a strong understanding of end-to-end business travel booking processes and operational workflows at service providers (e.g., TMCs, booking systems)
* You bring proven ability to work with data, KPIs, and reports to effectively steer processes and manage supplier relationships
