Position Summary
The role will be responsible for building & maintaining the Brazilian asset back securities & related content coverage in our database and maintaining on-going reference data changes working with market sources and supporting client engagements (pre & post sales).
Fluency in English and Portuguese (local dialect) language is needed given the extensive market contacts interactions needed in the set-up phase and on-going relationship management. The candidate will collect and analyze market data, perform quality control checks, and run daily operational procedures, responsible for client challenges and refine/adapt the work procedure of Brazilian market.
Main Responsibilities:
* Understand in-depth CMO database & workflow of Brazilian market requirements and refine & adapt the work procedure of Brazilian market
* Responsible for monitoring the new issue market, collecting and entering data and assisting with assigned projects based on client requirements.
* Build and maintain relations with local data sources, regulator and other market players and focus on influencing the data sources and stay persistent in their ask from certain market players
* Manage client queries
* Support Account Management/Sales Team with data/ market expertise during client visits and engagements (pre and post sales)
* Contribute towards and propose practical automation ideas focusing on effectiveness and customer experience
* Able to work independently and collaborate with others
* Detail-oriented individual who can meet deadlines and objectives
* Strong quantitative, analytical, and spreadsheet skills, with a focus on Microsoft Excel
* Must be self-motivated and have the ability to learn quickly and operate under tight time constraints
* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both face to face and via telephone/email
* Ability to review large data sets and form clear, consistent feedback
Qualification
* Bachelor or master's degree and specialization in finance / capital market or equivalent
Required Skills
* Fluent in English and Portuguese
* Certification in finance / capital market or equivalent
* Intermediate understanding of the Brazil financial market and learning agility to understand the nuances of the market
* Strong communication, relationship management, networking and influencing skills needed to build and maintain relations with local data sources, regulator and other market players
