Product engineering positions

Description du poste:

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead R&D, Manufacturing, and other functions in program development activities to ensure achievement of key milestones and vehicle Quality/Cost/Timing targets.
* Support the Assistant Chief Vehicle Engineer in defining and completing program metrics and direction to meet overall vehicle objectives.
* Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring control of the critical path.
* Prepare and chair progress milestone meetings, confirming all deliverables.
* Monitor metrics, identify key issues, and escalate "decision-ready" matters to the Chief Engineer.
* Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.
* Work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within the Nissan organization.
* Anticipate potential Quality/Cost/Timing concerns and proactively propose preventive or recovery actions.
* Guide teammates in project management activities.
* Be accountable for all deliverables and actions within the project.
Knowledge and Competencies:
* Broad knowledge and experience in the automotive industry.
* Proven leadership experience and people management skills.
* Strong technical knowledge of the market and applications.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate others, even without a formal leadership title.
Experience Required:
* Background in Product Development and/or Project Management.
* Solid experience in the automotive industry.
* Experience in Product Development Engineering or Production Engineering.
* Experience interacting with executive-level stakeholders.
* Advanced english level
