About Your Business Area/Department

The Financial Service Center in Bogota oversees all legal entities in the Americas, offering a complete range of financial services across the region. And leading the Source to Pay and Accounts Payable operation and processes across the region.
In this role you need to ensure efficient working as one team with other Finance partners to maximize Amadeus procurement processes and cash while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.

Summary of the role:

- Execute the designated activities in the Source to Pay process and Accounts Payable [Vendor enablement / Invoice Processing / Payment Execution]. Reception, validation and processing of Vendor Invoices; and related documents and ensuring compliance with the Source to Pay policy.
- Perform data entry & posting - enter required data from vendors related documents and other accounting transactional information into the system, in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Guarantee Transactions and system entries related to vendors are in full compliance of the Source to Pay Policy and accounting principles.
- Works autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, takes standard decisions and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.
- Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles or managers, with regular monitoring on the status of the assignments.
Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports concerning assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities in compliance with professional and corporate standards.
- Protect company assets through regular verification of the accuracy of financial transactions records (bank reconciliation, invoice controls, etc).

In this role you'll:

* Work together with other finance areas and internal customers to ensure positive Key Performance Indicators in line with agreed Service Level Agreements for operational Accounts Payable processes.
* Be a business partner for internal departments and vendors, providing support and advice in relation to Accounts Payable.
* Work on local and international projects.

About the ideal candidate:

* 1-4 years' experience in a Accounts Payable and / or Procure to Pay Environments.
* Hands on attitude, participates and is vocal on the daily activities of the department.
* Ready to go an extra mile to obtain extraordinary results
* English proficiency (B2/C1)
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proactiveness, drive and initiative.
* SAP S4 Hana knowledge
* Advanced Excel
* Coupa Knowledge.
* Knowledge of finance and accounting processes.
* Experience in multinational companies and / or Shared Service Centers is desirable.
* Bachelor´s degree in Business/Economics/Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
