Join our Core Cloud Team at GN Store Nord A/S as a Student Assistant, where you will help build modern, scalable cloud solutions with AI, frontend development, and cloud-native platforms at the center.

This role is ideal for a student who wants practical experience with real production systems, modern developer tooling, and cloud platforms, while working closely with experienced engineers on impactful initiatives.

The team you will be part of
As a Student Assistant in the Core Cloud Team, you will support the daily work of the Core Cloud Platform & Modernization teams and contribute directly to the modernization of GN's cloud services.

You will be part of the Core Cloud Team at GN Store Nord A/S, which is anchored within DDI (Digital, Data & IT). The team is responsible for managing and evolving GN's cloud platforms, enabling modern application services, and implementing cloud modernization initiatives across the organization.

Your contribution is valued and you will
* Assist in developing and maintaining frontend applications using .NET MAUI Blazor
* Support the build and integration of cloud platform features running on Kubernetes and containerized workloads
* Contribute to AI-powered features and workflows, supporting automation, analytics, and improved user experience
* Help improve dashboards, UI/UX, and internal developer tooling
* Collaborate closely with teams inside DDI (Digital, Data & IT), as well as operations and development teams, to deliver secure and scalable cloud services
* Contribute to the modernization of existing application services

Our work spans:
* Cloud platform engineering across Azure and AWS
* Container platforms and Kubernetes
* Internal tooling and platform capabilities
* Modernization of application services for service and application owners in the business

We work closely with teams inside DDI (Digital, Data & IT), as well as operations and development teams, to deliver high-quality, cloud-native services that support the broader organization. You will be working from our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you
* Are currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's program, or have just started a relevant Master's program (e.g. software engineering, cloud computing, computer science, or similar)
* Have experience or a keen interest in frontend development with .NET/Blazor or similar frameworks
* Are curious about cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and containerization
* Have an interest in AI-driven features and how AI can enhance platforms and user experiences
* Enjoy learning, experimenting, and collaborating with others
* Have a structured, methodical work style, with a flexible approach to cloud environments
* Are fluent in spoken and written English

Nice to have
* Experience with Kubernetes, containers, or cloud platforms
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Interest in workflow automation (e.g. ServiceNow)
* Curiosity about FinOps, cloud governance, or cost management
* Contributions to open-source or cloud-native projects
