THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
Santander is looking for an Analista de Solvencia/Financiero-Actuarial Grupo Asegurador based out of Boadilla del Monte.
We're shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
* Solvency II: Participation in all three pillars of the framework, i.e., calculation of the Group Solvency Position (Pillar I); support in the preparation and review of the ORSA Report (Pillar II); and support in the preparation and review of all the regulatory reports (quarterly and annual QRTs, SFCR, and RSR; Pillar III).
* Financial-Actuarial Tasks: Collaboration in the accounting monitoring of the holding company, processes related to IFRS 17, general financial management and actuarial issues, analysis of results, monitoring of the annual budget, and cash flow projections.
* Regulatory and Supervisory Matters: Participation in monitoring insurance sector regulations and assessing their impact on the Group'.
* Support in Other Tasks of the Department: Preparation of presentations and other documents, coordination with affiliated entities, collaboration in internal and external audits…

Professional Experience
* 1 to 5 years of experience in Solvency II, regulatory reporting for insurance companies, financial-actuarial departments within the insurance sector, or consulting in the insurance industry. (Required)
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (Required).
* Postgraduate degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences (Required)
Languages
* Fluent English. (Required)
Hard Skills
* Solid understanding of the Solvency II framework (regulatory requirements and reporting structure). (Required)
* Knowledge of the General Accounting Plan and Accounting Plan for Insurance Companies and IFRS 17 framework. (Required)
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with data management tools (VBA, SAS, SQL, ORACLE) and actuarial software (RAFM, PROPHET, RESQ, EMBLEM) will be valued, as well as familiarity with solvency reporting tools used by supervisors in Spain and other countries (DGSFP Capture Tool and XBRL).
