About the job 👩🏼‍💻
In Finance, we are mainly in charge of those sets of administrative tasks that support business operations and provide economic insights for ensuring the best resource allocation for high performance and growth.
As Tax Accounting Specialist you will be responsible for managing the tax activities and accounting of the Group's companies, ensuring compliance with tax obligations under the responsibility of the current Tax Manager and the support of external advisors. This role requires solid knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, mainly in Spain, as well as analytical skills to interpret and apply current legislation.
Your main tasks will include:
* Prepare and submit periodic tax returns, including VAT, withholdings, taxes, among other obligations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with local accounting principles and tax regulations.
* Collaborate in the preparation of financial reports providing relevant information on fiscal aspects.
* Provide support to other departments on tax implications of commercial and strategic decisions.
* Participate in internal and external audits, providing accounting/tax documentation.
* Support in the development of improvements in our ERP of the tax module.
* Support in the implementation of improvements in internal and external tax administrative processes.
* And any other initiative will be welcome.
About you 👩‍💻👨‍💻👨‍💻
* Bachelor's degree.
* Previous experience in tax and accounting practices in Spain. Knowledge of France, Portugal and Italy would be a plus.
* Fluent level of English. Knowledge of French would be a plus.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics will be a plus
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under deadlines set by State Agencies and in a rapidly changing environment.
* Highly motivated and results oriented person.
* Proactive and problem-solving skills
