Corporate Accounting and Consolidation Analyst

Grupo Palex is a leading and continuously growing company in the hospital and healthcare sector. We are looking for a Corporate Accounting and Consolidation Analyst, reporting directly to the Corporate Accounting & Consolidation Lead. This position will be responsible for supporting regional accounting and consolidation processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and international standards.

This role involves close collaboration with local finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Main responsibilities:
* Support the Corporate Accounting & Consolidation Lead in the consolidation process, analyzing and calculating complex consolidation adjustments.
* Calculate and document IFRS adjustments applicable to the Group, ensuring compliance with international standards.
* Support the Corporate Accounting & Consolidation Lead in preparing the consolidated annual accounts under IFRS.
* Supervise accounting processes across the region to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
* Analyze monthly variations and deviations in the balance sheet, identifying key drivers and providing explanations.
* Assist local finance teams in the accounting treatment and analysis of complex financial operations.
* Support the external audit of the consolidated financial statements.
* Prepare and update the annual impairment test.
* Participate in the purchase price allocation (PPA) process for newly acquired entities, reviewing work performed by external advisors or conducting the PPA for smaller acquisitions.
* Assist in the post-acquisition accounting integration of new entities.
* Provide guidance and training to local finance teams on the correct use of Oracle financial systems and tools.
* Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Oracle systems.

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, consolidation, or related functions. Knowledge of IFRS and consolidation processes will be highly valued. A high level of English is essential.
