The Role
The main mission of this position is to perform sensory evaluations and physicochemical analyses of raw materials and finished products, while providing expert sensory support to the team and contributing to the maintenance of high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct sensory analysis of raw materials and finished products, including the evaluation of appearance, odor, color, and taste. Materials may be powder or liquid, natural or synthetic, and of botanical, animal, or other origins.
* Perform physicochemical analyses, including but not limited to:

* Salt content
* Water content
* Functionality
* Granulometry
* Infrared (IR) analysis
* Other relevant analytical tests as required
* Manage analytical workload based on:
*
* The number of production lines
* The number of inspection lots generated
* The type and quantity of tests or controls per inspection lot
* The volume and diversity of raw materials and finished products
* Ensure compliance with Quality Control KPIs as established by the QC Vice President.
* Guarantee that the Company's quality standards are consistently maintained across products, procedures, policies, operations, and customer contracts or agreements.
* Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and polyvalence programs.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support quality, performance, and operational excellence.
* Carry out additional responsibilities and KPIs as assigned by the QC Supervisor or the GPM / QA / QC / Complaint Management Director.
About You
* You hold an Intermediate Qualification in Laboratory Operations.
* You have a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or a related field, with a proven track record in managing and operating analytical instruments.
* You bring a minimum of 2 years' experience in the flavor and fragrance industry or related sectors such as the food and beverage industry.
* You possess basic process knowledge of production environments, enabling effective collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams.
* You demonstrate a solid understanding of chemical properties, with knowledge of flavor and fragrance applications considered a strong advantage.
* You are detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a laboratory and production-linked environment.
