Job Description:
An opportunity for an Industrial Architect has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Tablada (Sevilla).

RESPONSABILITIES

The objective of the Industrial Architect is to deliver an optimized Industrial System concept compliant with requirements, the plan to verify and validate this concept, and the cascade of all the associated requirements for the detailed Industrial System definition.
It is applicable to all new Projects and Programs (customization phase for Space) , including aircraft derivatives, major modifications of an existing Product/Program.
In Space the Industrial Architect can also be tasked to develop Ground System Equipment.
Inputs: Top Program Objectives, or Change note, Change Request, Allocated Requirements, Program Assumption Pack, Project Master Plan, product trade-offs, Program Verification & Validation Strategy, TRL Gate Review Data Pack, Preliminary Space Allocation Model, Project Make or Buy policy.
For aircraft, inputs include MOD Decisions, Physical A/C Verification & Validation plan, master geometry.
Outputs: For aircraft : Industrial V&V plan for aircraft product, Top Level Industrial Requirements, Industrial Influence and Feed-back for Technology Selection, Build Concept, Trade Studies, Industrial System Concept, Workload & Industrial performances, industrial Means sizing & Industrial Architecture Dossier.
For Space : Technical Synthesis (analysis of gaps between satellite specificities and standards, covering Build Concept).
Estimate At Completion, Development Plan, Master schedule reviewing.

Industrialization
Define Build Process for ME
Calculate the time at operation level Ø Manage Technical Sequencing
Specify industrial asset (Jigs, Tools, Tooling, Machines,…) requirements for creation or modification
Drive implementation of 1st installation with required shop floor feedback loops for Manufacturing readiness (production handover)
Design Build Process Responsible of the integrated Manufacturing Dossier covering all means needed for shop floor execution as: Create / update routings / BoM / SOI taken into account shop floor needs, Time calculation and Work Preparation Golden Rules in accordance with applicable ABP processes
Perform Standard Work (The best way to perform tasks described in the SOI-The How)
Implement Standard Time Value in Routings
Ensure Execution of robust, reliable and safe operations
Run and support PFMEA/FMEA

Support to shopfloor
Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team
Participate Quality control board by providing measurement tasks. Run and secure capability process
Components/parts definition, specifications and jigs & tools activities support
Contribute to supply chain management guaranteeing full consistency and effectivity of data (eg: Missing part, stock, MRP impacts)
Interface Maintenance tasks
Consider Health & Safety regulation
Consider Schedule and economic aspects For more details refer to Airbus commercial procedure referential A2019.1 Produce Routings, As-Prepared Bill Of Material and Standard Operating Instruction
Manage key / recurrent work prep issues escalated by the Production Team / Tech shop floor support
Communicate directly and by a physical participation in Production Team routines and participate in project works in cross-skilled teams (national / international)
Support shop floor continuous improvement by providing work prep expertise when issues not managed at shop floor level by technical shop floor support.
Optimize further development for production processes (CI-measures
Advising in the budget preparation, sometimes involved in CAPEX planning to support determination of cost improvement measures.
Evaluate industrial impacts of modifications in collaboration with IA, ISE, Industrial Technologies jobs, TDE, PPE
Perform and support Run@Rate process if applicable
- Support process optimisation, maximizing Value Added with priority on critical path

SKILLS
* Degree in the related area
* Negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince
* Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
* Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
* English at negotiation level
* Knowledge of SAP
* Good interpersonal and communication skill
