The Position

At Roche Diagnostics, we believe that project management is about being the operational backbone of innovation. As a Global Project Manager (GPM), you will be a catalyst for redefining how we deliver impactful diagnostic solutions. We are evolving this role into a strategic orchestration function, where the focus is on enabling value, ensuring end-to-end traceability, and driving operational excellence at a systemic level.
We are looking for operational architects who can challenge the status quo. By taking ownership of the links between strategy and execution, connecting cross-functional teams, and building a "single source of truth," you will help elevate the GPM role into a servant-leader position that ensures teams have the space and focus required to innovate.

Your Challenges
Your mission is to move beyond traditional task-tracking and actively shape the operational health of our global portfolios. Key challenges include:
* Operational Orchestration: Act as a strategic partner ensuring vertical traceability-ensuring that high-level goals are clearly connected to execution units to enable autonomous, high-quality decisions.
* Systemic Flow & Friction Reduction: Proactively identify and resolve structural bottlenecks. You will act as a servant-leader, absorbing operational overhead and administrative friction to protect the core delivery teams.
* Single Source of Truth: Guarantee reliable, consolidated data for tracking investments, capacity, and risks. You will move the organization toward predictive steering rather than reactive reporting.
* Integrated Operating Excellence: Drive the organic adoption of standardized frameworks (Quality, Regulatory, and Methodology) into daily workflows, ensuring compliance is "built-in" rather than an after-the-fact exercise.
* Cross-Domain Connectivity: Facilitate high-level Risk and Opportunity management (ROMA) and coordinate critical integration points between different lifecycles to ensure organizational coherence.

​Who You Are
We need systems-thinkers who are obsessed with efficiency and data integrity.
* Experience: 3+ years leading complex operational frameworks or portfolios in Biotech/Tech. You are comfortable navigating highly regulated environments.
* Expertise: Mastery of the "Ops Stack" (JIRA, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Aha!) and modern frameworks (SAFe, Lean, or Systems Thinking).
* Strategic Impact: Proven ability to translate complex strategy into clear operational execution plans.
* Mindset: A fierce advocate for team autonomy who views "operations" as a product that needs to be optimized for the user.

* You will drive Predictive Steering: Use data to look ahead. You will help leadership make decisions based on flow, capacity, and real-time risk, not on what happened last month.
