We are now looking for a skilled
Service Engineer
to join our team in Hyvinkää. In this role, you will provide expert technical support to our maintenance organization by resolving complex equipment issues and sharing knowledge across the team. You will play a key role in ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Solve complex technical problems beyond Maintenance Technician capability
* Perform first visits on unknown equipment (competitor or KONE).
* Support installation-to-maintenance handovers and identify technical competence gaps.
* Communicate new technical issues that may cause call-outs or safety hazards.
* Provide feedback to improve products, methods, and safety.
* Plan workload effectively and maintain accurate reporting of work performed.
* Manage proximity stock and ensure tools and equipment are in good condition.
* Actively raise sales leads and communicate improvement opportunities.
* Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service and proactive communication.
* Maintain excellent relationships with customers and end-users on-site.
* Identify site risks and take immediate action when necessary.
* Perform unplanned service repairs when approved by the customer.
* Coach and train Maintenance Technicians on root causes and solutions.
* Share updates on new maintenance methodologies and technical information.
* Collaborate with installation teams and technical support.
We're Looking For:
* Strong technical troubleshooting skills with experience in lift or similar technology
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards
* Willingness to learn and share knowledge within the team
* Willingness to travel - This position involves frequent travel and requires the ability to adapt to changing schedules, flight delays, and other travel-related challenges. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong stress management skills, flexibility, and the capacity to maintain professionalism and effectiveness under pressure while navigating the demands of a travel-intensive role.
