Job Description:

► Take part in the execution of environmental and lifetime testing of SiC power semiconductor modules for hybrid and electric vehicles according to international standards (e.g., AQG324)
* Test setup preparation: sample preparation, hardware and software (Labview) setup
* Test monitoring
* Solving technical issues regarding to samples / test equipment
► Take part in the implementation of newly developed test methods for power electronics in a subfield of e-Mobility
► Perform hands-on tasks in the laboratory, including conducting electrical tests, maintaining, and troubleshooting test equipment
► Sample handling
► Interpret test results and communicate findings to the test engineers in the lab
► Proactively address unexpected results, working independently or in a team to resolve issues

Qualifications:

► Secondary technical school degree
► Experience in a laboratory environment
► Basic knowledge in the field of power semiconductors, inverter units
► Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive under pressure
► High tolerance for repetitive tasks and an ability to maintain focus
► Basic in English
What gives you further advantages:
► B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
► Basic knowledge of LabVIEW and/or Matlab programming
► Experience with environmental testing
► Familiarity with the AQG-324 standard
► German language skills
► Previous experience in the automotive industry
