Job Responsibilities

* Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems
* Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, piping systems, and other mechanical components
* Inspect equipment for wear, misalignment, vibration, leaks, and other mechanical issues
* Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical parts and assemblies
* Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, manuals, and work orders
* Use precision measuring instruments and maintenance tools to complete repairs accurately
* Support equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities
* Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts usage, and work order documentation
* Follow all plant safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental requirements
* Coordinate with operations, engineering, and other maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues
* Identify opportunities for equipment reliability and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

* Diploma Mechanical /Mechatronics
* Technical training, apprenticeship, or vocational certification in mechanical maintenance or related field preferred
* Experience in industrial, manufacturing, plant, or facility maintenance
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and mechanical systems
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
* Basic computer skills for work orders and maintenance systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems
* Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus
* Experience with alignment, bearings, seals, and rotating equipment

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift materials or tools as needed
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
* Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, heat, dust, and moving equipment
* Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required

Work Schedule

* Hourly, non-exempt position
* May require overtime, weekends, holidays, or call-in support based on operational needs
