Azure Network Analyst (SPC up to 24 months)

Overview

PepsiCo are seeking an experienced Azure Network Analyst to join our Infrastructure Delivery team in Carrigaline on a fixed term basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting with the migration of an existing on-premise SAP environment to Microsoft Azure. This role involves contributing to the design of the target environment and translating these designs into detailed build documentation for the implementation team.
Responsibilities

* Azure Migration Support: Assist in planning and executing the migration of an on-premise SAP environment to Azure.
* Design & Documentation: Collaborate with architects and engineers to design the Azure infrastructure and produce comprehensive build documents for the delivery team.
* Network Security: Design and implement Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Palo Alto firewall rules across a complex, secure environment.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, security, and operational requirements.
* Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all designs adhere to enterprise security standards and Azure best practices.
* Troubleshooting & Optimization: Provide guidance during build and deployment phases, resolving design-related issues as needed.
Qualifications

* Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture, particularly in enterprise-scale migrations.
* Hands-on experience with SAP environments and their infrastructure requirements. Proficiency in designing and implementing NSGs and Palo Alto firewall rules. Familiarity with secure network design principles and compliance frameworks.
* Ability to create clear, detailed technical documentation for build teams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills within large delivery teams. Desirable Skills: Azure (AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-120, AZ-305 )& Network Security(PCNSA & PCNSE) related certifications an advantage.
* Experience with Azure networking services (e.g., VNETs, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute).
* Knowledge of SAP on Azure reference architectures. Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell) for infrastructure deployment. Linux administration and troubleshooting skills - highly beneficial for SAP and Azure environments.
