The ESG Due Diligence Specialist supports the operational coordination, monitoring, and continuous improvement of supplier due diligence processes across the company's compliance operations. Acting as a central liaison between corporate CSR, procurement, and business units, the role ensures compliance with ESG standards and regulatory obligations while supporting the transition from manual, fragmented processes to structured, data-driven, and scalable systems. Through analytical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and process enhancement, this position reinforces the company's commitment to ethical sourcing, transparency, and sustainable business transformation, enabling both regulatory compliance and long-term value creation across the upstream value chain.
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Risk Management, or related field; master's degree is a plus. Professional experience of minimum 2 years in supplier risk management, compliance, or procurement or comparable functions within multinational or complex organizations. Analytical & Data-Driven mindset with proven ability to extract, consolidate, and interpret complex datasets; preferable experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel). Skilled in managing workflows, calendars, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders in evolving and matrixed environments. Well-developed stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to build credibility, influence and maintain productive partnerships with business units; capacity to "speak the same language" as operational teams. Process orientation & continuous improvement with a structured approach to designing and refining procedures. Able to translate complex ESG and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-specialist audiences. Strong adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, thriving in unstructured settings where processes are evolving, contributing to building frameworks and initiative/proactivity are required rather than executing predefined procedures. Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages (French, others) as a plus in a global policy scenario
