ArcelorMittal dispose également d'un centre de R&D situé à Esch-sur-Alzette.
ArcelorMittal is engaged in a very ambitious and challenging Decarbonisation target to reach net zero in 2025. Intermediate objectives have been set in 2030, -25% at group level and -35% at Europe level and will be reached thru an unprecedented steelmaking transition. This upheaval requires a brand-new approach to the overall supply chain that will be completely transformed, especially for renewable energy, decarbonized hydrogen, green DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) and CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage). The spearhead of this transformation is the newly created Decarbonisation Partnerships & JVs.In coordination with Operations, Government Affairs, Procurement, M&A, the objective is to both fulfil ArcelorMittal decarbonisation targets and initiate vertical integration. To fulfill its ambition, ArcelorMittal is looking for an Analyst to be integrated in the Partnerships & JVs team and work transversally within the 4 streams: Renewable Energy, Decarbonized Hydrogen, Green DRI and CCS Analyst will support the Business heads and the business developers & will have the following responsibilities: * Gather, interpret, and use complex data to develop business models, and more concretely, actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize Levelized Costs such as LCOE (Electricity), LCOH (Hydrogen)… * Conduct full lifecycle of analytics projects (including pulling, manipulating, and exporting data) from project requirements documentation to design and execution * Apply financial modelling tools to analyse profitability of individual projects, and to provide financial advice in a number of businesses such as financial planning, equity research, corporate finance… * Identify and analyse funding alternatives for the projects * Master business models from different public sources (EHB, EC through ETS IF, …) to get a good insight of the key parameters that will lever the amount of public support * Evaluate key performance indicators, provide ongoing reports, and recommend business plan updates * Set up & run proper governance with different stakeholders to ensure smooth information flows (Procurement, Finance, M&A, Operations, JV Partners, etc.) * Produce high-quality spreadsheets/reports to support decisions from management and the development of JVs' businesses * Perform a market watch to follow-up projects evolutions on the various categories, and provide reports / analytic tools to benchmark

Profil requis du candidat:

Competencies: * Advanced analytical skills, with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating abundant information accurately * Financial modelling and analysis * Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and a solid understanding of financial analysis terminology and best practices, such as Discounted Cash Flows and financial statements * A keen eye for detail and an ability to sift through large data sets to extract meaningful information * Excellent Excel skills or experience with similar spreadsheet software, including the use of charts, macros, and VBA * Good knowledge of other MS Office tools (PowerBi, PowerPoint, …) * Inquisitive: having natural curiosity and drive to continue learning and figuring out how things fit together * Good verbal, written, and visual communication skills * Ability to present findings in a polished way * Entrepreneurial mindset, with an innovative approach to business planning * Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines * Open minded, quick learner. * Fluent in English, French is an important asset, other European languages are a plus Profile: * Master's degree (or equivalent), preferably in computer science, engineering, mathematics, business management, or economics * Proficiency with statistics and dataset analytics (SPSS, SAS, … are a plus) * Strong willingness to learn, support and challenge when needed * High engagement and motivation to overcome difficulties and constraints in any project * Professional experience of 1-2 years, preferably in a global company and in areas such as M&A, corporate finance, financing / funding, business law is a plus * Ability to navigate through a multi-cultural, international environment, developing solid relationships with different stakeholders * Team player
